During December 18 to 27, 2019, led by Vice President Prof. Zhao Lehui, delegation from Guangzhou Maritime University (GMU) including Mr. Cheng Song of International Office visited Fairfield University, Virginia Commonwealth University, Latin America Technology SAS, Caribbean Maritime University etc. The purpose of this visit was to discuss the exchange of teachers and students, personnel training, academic exchange, scientific research cooperation, school enterprise cooperation, overseas practice base, and reach cooperation intention and sign cooperation agreement etc.
This visit achieved fruitful results, reached preliminary cooperation intention with universities or enterprises such as Fairfield University, and planned to sign a memorandum and agreement of cooperation, which opened up the exchanges and cooperation between our university and American universities, and improved our influence and international reputation in the Americas, and had important symbolic significance.
