From December 17th to 21th, 2019, GMU Vice- President led a delegation to UK for a working visit. During the visit, the delegation visited University of Strathclyde, University of Huddersfield. The purpose of this visit is to discuss the exchange of teachers and students, the construction of disciplines and specialties, the cultivation of talents, cooperative research and other aspects so as to reach cooperation intention and sign an inter-school cooperation agreement.
This visit has achieved remarkable results, which had good inspiration and reference significance for the innovation of talent training mode and teaching practice training of GMU, provided a good platform for the cultivation of application-oriented talents of relevant majors in GMU, and widened the channels of cooperation and communication, and provided a new cooperation mode for the cultivation of International talents in GMU, and provided a new cooperation mode for the cultivation of international, high-level and application-oriented talents in GMU. It provided all-round and multi-level cooperation opportunities and laid a good foundation for the cooperation between the two universities in the field of high-level personnel training and scientific research.
