Educational Goals: This program aims to cultivate application-oriented professionals in an all-round manner. In addition to a high level of proficiency in English, the refined and resourceful graduates should be highly competitive in the job market, thanks to strong abilities in communication, organization and management, and professional qualification certificates, including the Sea Basic Safety Certificate, the Seaman’s Book, the Work Permit on luxury liners issued by China MSA , in line with the requirements in "International Convention on Standards of Training, Certification and Watch-keeping for Seafarers, 1978, as amended in 1995" and "Rules for Competence Examination and Issuance of Certificate for Seafarers in People's Republic" and international ship-owners’ recognition standards.


Academic years and Certificates: Three years, Diploma


Major courses: Comprehensive English, English Extensive Reading, English Listening, English Pronunciation, Oral English, Maritime Rules and Regulations, Tourism English, Mandarin, Practical Cruise English, Overview of Cruises, International Cruise Service and Management, Cruise Service Etiquette, Introduction to Cruise Destinations and Tourist Source Countries, Practical Training for Hotel Service, Training for Cruise Safety and Lifesaving and International Crew Certification, Talent Training, Introduction to Ships, Physical Training, etc.


Career prospects: The graduates are mainly employed by international luxury cruises taking routes to China, Japan and South Korea, to Southeast Asia, and to Europe and America, such as Star Cruises, Costa Cruise Lines, Norwegian cruise line, etc.
