On the afternoon of December 6th, 2019, Associate Professor Bogdan wierzbinski, deputy dean of the school of Social Sciences of University of Rzeszów, Poland, came to our university for academic exchange and lectures. The purpose of this visit is to activate the atmosphere of international academic exchange between teachers and students of GMU, improve the international academic exchange ability of teachers and students, broaden the international vision of teachers and students, and promote cross-cultural exchange and understanding. Associate Professor Bogdan wierzbinski gave an academic lecture for the teachers and students of the School of Shipping Economics and Trade, and participated in the discussion and exchange of school teachers with Dr. Tomasz surmacz.
Associate Professor Bogdan wierzbinski introduced Poland's geographical location, Polish history and culture, city of Rzeszów and University of Rzeszów to the teachers and students from the School of Shipping Economics and Trade in Conference Room 501 of the shipping building, and gave an academic lecture with the theme of "Introduction to Management -- Managing the Markets (meaning and understanding)".This lecture not only broadened the students' international vision, but also deepened students' cognition and understanding of many important concepts in the marketing course. Professor Bogdan wierzbinski's humorous lecture style and interesting classroom teaching were widely praised and discussed by our teachers and students.
After the lecture, Professor Ge Chunfeng, Deputy Dean and relevant Professors or Doctors from School of Shipping Economics and trade had a discussion and exchange with Professor Bogdan and Dr. Tomasz. The two sides exchanged in-depth views on such issues as mutual visits of teachers, EU funded exchange student projects and scientific research cooperation, and reached a consensus of "deepening cooperation and promoting win-win". In addition, four exchange students who are going to study at University of Rzeszów in Poland also participated in the exchange activity, and consulted two Polish teachers on issues related to the exchange program.
